Not into the traditional table setting? Want your settings to be unique among wedding receptions? One of my favorite new trends for table settings is placing the silverware at the center of the plate, rather than beside it. There’s a variety of ways to organize your silver at the center:

1. The silverware can be tied together with twine or ribbon that matches your theme and color palette.

2. A name card, menu or piece of greenery can be tied to the silverware to add personalized details. A napkin or menu could also be placed neatly under the silverware to create visual appeal.

3. The pieces of silverware can be placed parallel alongside one another or bunched together, making a crisscross pattern.

Check out the pictures below to determine which style and details will suit your big day.

Wedding gown trends have me swooning right now.   So far, we are seeing the peplum, sleeves, blush colored (Thanks to the luckiest lady on Earth:  Jessica Biel-Timberlake), short dresses,  the trusty-will forever be beautiful lace gown, illusion necklines, old hollywood glamour (Hats off to Mad Men), feminine floral, and my personal favorite – drum roll please – the sexy detailed back of the gown.

Brides are always looking for that “WOW” factor in a wedding gown.  However, sometimes that “WOW” factor is hard to find in a wedding gown that is appropriate to get married in.  I especially think for the bride who is looking for a conservative gown to please grandma, the mother, and the mother-in-law or simply having a special religious ceremony, having an ornate detailed back could be the way to bring a slight “WOW” or “sexy” in without getting any “stink eye disapproval”.

The backs of the gowns can be as simple or over the top as you would like! I mean, just look at the first few dresses.  The back is simple and has little or no “detailing” but it is so soft and beautiful.  Now, look at the other dresses with all the beading, delicate lace, and ornate detailing.  No matter what your personal taste is – simple or over the top, it still screams dramatic, stunning, and slightly sexy in a very tasteful way…wouldn’t you say?

All the gowns below are gorgeous with backs that are just as, if not more beautiful than the front of the gown.  And lets not forget that during the ceremony, everyone in crowd will be staring at the back of your gown while you face the minster or officiant.  Why not have the back of your dress as dramatic as the front?
