A fact you might not know: 65% of us are visual learners.
That means 65% of brides are visual when it comes to planning their wedding!
While preparing for a vendor meeting, make sure you have at least 3-5 pictures of your wedding style, along with 3-5 pictures of that specific item (i.e. invitations). This helps vendors identify what exactly you want for your wedding. Wedding vendors are happiest when they have happy brides, who are in love with their flowers, invitations, event set up, etc! Of course we love what we do, but the absolute best part is the bride’s response when her wedding becomes what she’s dreamed of… so let us know what you’re dreaming of! Also, make sure to talk through your budget BEFORE your meeting. This helps vendors narrow down options for you. It’s also a great way to compare pricing, if you are exact about what you want. Vendors also know how to play with what you want and create something similar at a lower budget. Make sure you take advantage of their skills! : )
Today, we are featuring a paper vendor in Athens, Georgia. Plainjane Designs is located in the heart of Athens on Milledge Avenue. The great thing about PJD is they have at least a dozen invitation/program books for you to look through if you’re not a Pinterest-addict. You might need a couple meetings before you make your final decision. Take a look at some of their beautiful work…
