Denver Wedding Planner Spotlight | Erica Alsobrook
Colorado Springs, Colorado
Why Denver? What do you love about this city?
As a Colorado Native, I love Denver for its Active Lifestyle and Patio Season. There is nothing better than sitting on the patio of a great restaurant and watching a legendary Colorado Sunset.
What did you do prior to joining Chancey Charm?
Previous to Chancey Charm, my experience includes curating one of a kind weddings and events at Country Clubs in the South Denver Area.
What drew you to planning + the wedding industry?
Love. I love organization and planning almost as much as Love Stories. It is a true joy when your passion and work can align.
What’s your favorite part of the planning process?
My favorite part of the planning process is getting to know my clients and their vision for their special day! There is so much expression of heart and personality that you experience when you listen to someone tell you about the day they’ll say I do.
Do you have any pets?
I do! I have a cat named Mowgli, yes from the Jungle Book!
The 4th of July, there is just something magical about fireworks in the summer sky and the gathering of community.
Best first dance song?
“Yours” by Russell Dickerson
A long weekend off includes…
Trips to Kind Coffee and Rocky Mountain National Park with Friends or a Family BBQ with Lawn Games!
What’s your favorite style?
Classic- Lush Flowers, Romantic Colors and Candles Everywhere. Whether you are in an Industrial Space or at a Mountain Chateau, a Classic never goes out of style.
Best place for a dessert in Denver…
Little Man Ice Cream. I am guilty of being in that line several times, even in the snow!
