What’s your area of expertise?
Carbs, multitasking and making people feel their loveliest!
First job you ever landed
My first job with real responsibility was an emergency dispatcher.
What brought you to the wedding industry?
I was an event planner and also worked in fine dining. Social [and wedding] events became my fave because you got to engage with people about something personal. I love making people feel special.
A lesson you’ve learned the hard way in the wedding industry
Remain true to yourself, your values, and your morals and you won’t need to worry about anything else.

Favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon
I love to cozy up with a new book (the real thing, not an eBook) or binge on the latest Netflix original.
Best piece of advice to someone new to the industry
I always feel strange when giving advice, so I’ll keep it simple. Be yourself and always smile.
Best piece of planning advice to a new bride/groom
Make sure your veil has a metal (not plastic) hair comb.
Some words you live by
Some of my favorite words come from the book of Matthew from Jesus’ sermon on the mount. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. And from John 13:34: A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

Best tip for balancing work + home life
I’m an early riser, so I find my most productive hours are early mornings and I try to wrap up at a decent hour by silencing off my work email alerts. Structure and organization play a very big role in the success of my work + home balance, so I try to remain disciplined as best I can.
Best moment of your career
It’s so hard to choose just one! One of my favorite wedding moments was when a Hey Lovely Bride named Claire looked in the mirror for the first time after hair and makeup was complete and cried. She said they were definitely happy tears because she had never felt more beautiful. Everyone in the room was teary! It was a sweet, heartfelt moment.
