Why Tampa? What do you love about this city?
It’s a smallish city that’s starting to get some real attention – we’re getting so many cool bars, restaurants, and public spaces for young, modern couples and families. The entire downtown is going to be a totally different place in a few years- it’s really exciting to see it’s evolution and to be here from the start to watch it grow.
What did you do prior to joining Chancey Charm?
I’ve been working in weddings for 10+ years. In addition to Chancey Charm, I also freelance for other luxury wedding planners and travel across the country assisting them with their weddings and events. I also am an event manager for a business workshop that takes place in different cities as well.
What drew you to planning + the wedding industry?
I love getting to use my creative and logistics brains. You absolutely need to tap into both in this career.
What’s your favorite part of the planning process?
I love logistics! Overseeing vendor arrival and setup, and managing the production side. It’s the one element brides don’t ever need to worry about and I take so much pride in managing that part for them.
Do you have any pets?
None! Sadly allergic to both pups and cats
4th of July! No formalities, just fun!
A long weekend off includes…
Staying in bed with my fiance Rich, going for brunch then meeting with friends for drinks in the afternoon at our favorite riverfront bar.
What’s your favorite style?
I’m super classic, but with a little twist
Best place for a dessert in Tampa…
