Wedding planning doesn’t need to be stressful. In fact, it can (and should) be exciting and fun! Our goal is to give our clients an incredible planning experience and to make this entire process as enjoyable as possible.
In order to do this we offer our brides support in both “Full Planning” and “Month-of” capacities depending on the amount of assistance they need. But no matter how much support a bride chooses, she always has access to our incredible suite of online planning tools.
Our goal is that all of our brides feel relaxed and calm from “Yes!” to “I do!” knowing that they have an extraordinary team of planners and designers behind them every step of the way!

MEET THE ATLANTA WEDDING PLANNER TEAM
LEAD ATLANTA WEDDING PLANNER
Brie Owens is known for her fun, feminine style and serves Chancey Charm as our lead Atlanta wedding planner and coordinator. Brie only takes on a small number of weddings each year in order to ensure that she is able to give her full attention to the two important roles she serves within the Chancey Charm family: both as a planner and a mentor to the rest of the Atlanta team.Brie owned her own wedding planning company prior to joining Chancey Charm. And now as a seasoned veteran in the events industry, she is using her extensive knowledge to not only help our couples, but also to be a resource for the other Chancey Charm Atlanta planners. Brie has had a hand in nearly every aspect of the planning process from event coordination and venue management, to catering, bartending and floral design. She’s even been known to step in and play MC in a pinch!
Her degree in Hospitality Management from East Carolina University also prepared her to serve her clients with an unmatched level of service, and gave her a solid foundation in event planning which she has continued to cultivate throughout the years. All of this experience has made her a veritable expert in all things weddings and events!
When Brie is not planning weddings or managing her team, you can find her spending time with her husband Stephen and their miracle baby Joseph, who together make the most precious little family! Brie also has a 10 year old Plott Hound who has escaped death on multiple occasions–much to the relief of her loving, yet anxiety-ridden owners. Since moving into a 1930s bungalow in 2015, Brie and her husband have renovated their kitchen and guest bathroom down to the studs, and they’re not finished yet! The two are constantly dreaming of the next wall they can tear down!
Brie’s work has been featured in several top-tier publications, including Grey Likes Weddings, Wedding Lovely, Atlantan Brides Modern Luxury, The Knot Georgia, Southern Wedding Magazine and The Southeastern Bride Magazine.
Having grown up in the metro-Atlanta area, Brie loves sharing the beauty and uniqueness of everything this region has to offer both local and destination brides!

Trici is known for her professionalism, organization and phenomenal time management skills. Her passion for weddings stems from her love of serving her couples by ensuring that their planning process is as stress-free as possible. She loves getting to know what makes her clients tick so that she can exceed their expectations as she brings their vision to life!
Trici feels honored that her couples trust her with such a momentous occasion and is grateful to be part of one of the most important days of their lives. She also loves seeing people have a great time–so if your crowd is one that will light up the dance floor, she’s your gal! Outside of weddings Trici loves shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Practically since birth, Mariah has been passionate about planning events. At age 11, Mariah attended her school’s career day sporting a shirt that read, “Mariah’s Wedding Planning,” foreshadowing the business she would build years later.
Upon graduating from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), Mariah discovered her passion while working for an event planning company where she assisted, managed, and coordinated a variety of events.
In 2016, Mariah’s childhood dreams became reality with the launch of Mariah Caitlin Events.
Since then, Mariah has planned and coordinated more than 100 weddings. Known for her innate eye for design and painstaking attention to detail, Mariah’s style is one of understated Southern elegance and whimsical charm.
Above all, Mariah excels at understanding your vision and making it a reality. After all, it’s your day. You deserve to see every detail executed to perfection, and Mariah goes above and beyond to ensure your day is even better than you dreamed it could be.
Sofia’s passion for events and people is what led her to wedding planning in the first place and she is still in disbelief that she gets to do this professionally! Owning her own event planning company, as well as earning her International Relations degree from Rice University has given her a full range of unique planning opportunities–meaning she can handle even the most unique event logistics with ease!
Born in Mexico City, Sofia is also fluent in Spanish and loves any chance she can to blend different cultures together to create a unique, personalized event for her clients. She has extensive experience with Jewish weddings and truly loves working with couples looking for the perfect “Jewish Atlanta wedding planning experience.” When she is not working, Sofia loves spending time with her husband and two children.
Andrea has been a wedding planner for over five years. Her positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to problem solve on the fly make her indispensable to her brides throughout their wedding planning process.
Her varied background prior to moving into the wedding industry has helped her build an incredible reputation with her clients. Her eye for design, and talent for organizing events came from her experience as an interior designer. Her love for designing tablescapes was realized when she worked in catering for a restaurant and made desserts for their wedding clients. Even her background as a pediatric nurse came in handy when she had to revive a brother of the bride when he hit his head on a marble floor after fainting!
Her favorite part of the wedding day is at the end of the night when she says goodbye to her couples and sends them towards their grand exit to begin the next chapter of their lives. Knowing that she has helped make this one of the most incredible days of their lives always leaves her looking forward to her next wedding planning adventure!
Outside of events Andrea loves to travel, hike, and have Friday pizza and movie nights with her three young daughters.
With more than five years of event planning and design experience as well as a passion for graphic design, Shelley is a perfect fit for our stylish Atlanta brides. Her keen eye for detail and uncanny ability to easily manage even the most complicated event logistics allows her to effortlessly to create the ultimate event experience for our couples and their guests.
Owning her own planning and design company before coming to Chancey Charm, Shelley is a wealth of knowledge about the Atlanta events industry and has worked with many of the areas top vendors and venues. Shelley’s work is highly regarded on the Atlanta wedding scene and has recently been featured on Southern Weddings and Atlantan Brides Modern Luxury.
Family is Shelley’s world; when she is not planning an event, you can find her spending time with her husband Sean and two daughters, Aubree and Zoey.
Natalie fell in love with wedding planning in California where received her degree in Hospitality and Event Management from California State University of Chico. Although she’s a total creative at heart, Natalie is also very “type A” when it comes to logistics and timelines. She’s able to think on her feet, problem solve on the fly, and make sure that her clients’ events go off without a hitch!
Her past experience as an event designer has given her the ability to understand her brides’ vision, and bring it to life in a way that leaves her clients completely in love with the look and feel of their wedding day. Her honesty and ability to connect with her brides on a deeper level makes all of her clients feel truly invested in, and genuinely cared for.
Outside of planning weddings, Natalie loves tackling projects around her house, and leading worship at her church.

I truly believe with our amazing Atlanta team, you get more bang for your buck! Behind the scenes, we are family that relies on one another for guidance, wisdom, and support in a way that is unheard of in this industry. We really thrive on the team aspect of planning a high-end event because of how much it benefits our clients and their weddings.
As a Chancey Charm bride, you are not only getting the expertise, knowledge, and connections of the planner you are working with, but you have that kind of support from the entire Atlanta team which means that you receive one of the best client experiences in the industry!
We do! It’s a common misconception that wedding coordinators can come in on your wedding day having little to no pre-planning meetings and manage it with excellence. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case. As planners, we want to make sure that we have enough time to gather the information we need to manage the details you’ve put together, while making sure that there are no issues on the wedding day itself.
Therefore, our “day-of” coordination package (which we refer to as “month-of” coordination), starts one month before your wedding date to ensure that we are equipped with all the details and logistics necessary to ensure your wedding day runs smoothly. If you truly need someone to show up on your wedding day with no prior communication, unfortunately, we aren’t able to provide that type of support.
In short, we guide you and hold your hand throughout the entire process–start to finish. Since each bride is different in terms of the amount of guidance they need, we customize each proposal to fit their unique level of support. There’s not a lot that we won’t do for our full service brides!
ABSOLUTELY! We are happy to offer design services to any month of coordination package, and it’s included in our full planning packages!
Our approach to event design is one-of-a-kind and it is one of our favorite parts of the entire planning process. We start by sitting down with you and your fiancé in order to really get to know you as a couple and learn more about your personal style, then we work with you to create a comprehensive design plan outlining all of the aesthetic details for your big day so you’ll be able to envision exactly what it will look like when you celebrate with your loved ones.
Our goal is to incorporate as much of your personality and personal style into your wedding day as possible so your event feels like a beautiful representation of who you both are as a couple, rather than just a pretty “Pinterest-worthy” wedding.
We try our best to respond to all communication within 48 hours during typical business hours which are Monday-Thursday 9:00am-4:00pm EST. Fridays and Saturdays are by appointment only as those days are usually spent on-site for events.
We do not charge our clients on an hourly basis. Instead, we assess your needs during the consultation phase and determine a flat fee that will cover the entirety of the planning process. Your price will never increase once a contract is agreed upon and includes unlimited communication throughout the process.
Absolutely! Many of our clients don’t actually live in Atlanta, but choose to get married here due to the amount of the unique event opportunities, and because of the fact that Atlanta is a great hub for family and friends who may be traveling from across the country to celebrate with them.
We can (and do) plan weddings anywhere! Whether you’re in downtown Atlanta, the mountains of northern Georgia, or the shores of Savannah — we tackle it all! (We even plan destination weddings, so click here for more info on that).
Our team has worked at many of the top venues in the Atlanta area and is constantly expanding the list of places where we’ve planned events. (Keep scrolling below to view the extensive list).
And don’t worry if your venue is not on the list, or if you’re planning an event at a private estate. While we understand that it can be scary trusting someone with your wedding if they haven’t worked at your venue before, rest assured, that doesn’t scare us at all! In fact, we love the challenge and fresh energy that we get from designing an event in a new space.
