Marisa Negri

Marisa Negri is a full-time luxury event planner and a part-time world traveler. She recently returned from an incredible three-month backpacking trip throughout Europe and a six-month stint in Northern California, and incorporates inspiration from her travels into her event design. Her favorite places in the world are the Greek Islands, Irish countryside, Swiss Alps, and of course the vibrant grounds of Bulldawg Nation: Athens, Georgia. Aside from traveling, Marisa enjoys a rounded mix of vintage shopping, cooking, crafting, hiking, photography, and fostering rescue animals. She has both corporate and boutique experience in event planning, floral design, PR, and advertising with companies such as Electronic Arts (EA), Paramount Pictures, and Sashay Creative Events. Originally from New York and having moved around both coasts, she now calls Atlanta home. To Marisa, helping couples create the wedding of their dreams is the most wonderfully rewarding experience in the world. She is passionate about every step of the process from the initial design sketches to the last dance, and everything in between!

Marilisa Schachinger 

Marilisa (pronounced Mary-Lisa) Schachinger moved to Marietta, Georgia from Ridgewood, New Jersey over nine years ago. After graduating from the University of Georgia with degrees in Advertising and Psychology, she decided to pursue her passion for event planning by interning with one of the premier caterers of the South, Epting Events. She was quickly added to their sales team as an assistant event coordinator and has been working over the past year (and some change) on building a strong rapport with clients. With experience ranging from personal holiday parties to detailed weddings and upscale corporate galas, Marilisa has thrived under pressure in the event planning industry. She is especially excited to focus her event planning skills on her favorite and most rewarding avenue of events – weddings! Marilisa lives in Athens with her husband, Taylor, and their German shepherd, Chief.  Her work has been published by Southern Weddings.

 

 

 

Katie Werkin

Katie is a native of the sweet southern state of Mississippi, but currently resides in Georgia with her husband, Jacob.  A University of Southern Mississippi alumni, Katie comes to us with a corporate background that includes event management and public figure handling. Her professional poise and confidence is evident in her work and communication skills. Her experience in the corporate world has fine-tuned her organizational skills, making the wedding planning process a breeze! She has a calm presence and professional attitude, which she uses to maintain a calm, stress-free environment for her clients on the day of. Katie believes in love at first sight, and wants everyone to have their “Happily Ever After!”

Sara Skinner

Sara Skinner moved south from Princeton, New Jersey almost seven years ago and embraced all things southern, including a very convincing “y’all” almost immediately.  A former pastry chef and estate manager, she followed her dream of planning events and weddings by gaining experience with friends and teaming up with elleB Events before joining Chancey Charm. Sara lives in Peachtree Corners with her husband, Tony, and their rescue pup, Lily.  They are happy to announce the recent birth of their son Matthew.
